In the face of rapid global population aging and declining birth rates, designing products and markets from the perspective of elderly individuals has become a critical issue. Addressing the challenges that older adults face due to physiological, psychological, and metabolic factors, we approach the subject from the angles of health, food nutrition, and wellness, creating food interfaces that combine both delicious flavor and approachability. In dealing with conditions such as sarcopenia and the physical and psychological changes associated with aging, user-friendly food interface design should take into account a variety of aspects, including texture, swallowability, flavor, chewability, and nutrition. These should be integrated with engaging, culturally meaningful elements and empathetic companionship through both hardware and software design, so that every elderly person in an aging society can age with greater confidence and dignity.

We are dedicated to developing foods that deliver both nutritional and health-promoting benefits, stimulating seniors’ appetites so they can eat well, eat happily, and truly enjoy their meals. Ultimately, our design philosophy aims for nutrition to be efficiently absorbed and digested—this remains the foremost vision of our Yong Yi design team. We hope to enhance the dietary well-being of the elderly and safeguard every senior, giving greater significance to the foods they consume. Inspired by traditional virtues and a spirit of nourishing strength, Yong Yi allows our elders to delight in a healthy, delicious dining experience, free from stress and full of joy.
